Here’s a little bit about why I do what I do. Back in high school, my stepdad gave me my first camera, and from the moment I picked it up, I was hooked. I love capturing both people and products in a fresh, authentic way—bringing out details that make them stand out.

That creativity is what keeps me inspired. Albert Einstein believed that switching between creative pursuits—like playing the violin—kept his mind sharp and ideas flowing, and I feel the same way about photography. While I have my own style, I don’t stick to just one niche. Exploring different types of photography keeps my work fresh, sparks new ideas, and ensures my passion always feels like a creative outlet, not just a job.

Fun Fact Nuggets

  • My name’s Millie—short for Mildred (I go by both). I was named after my great-grandmother, and the name itself means gentle strength.

  • I've been exploring a new herb each week (I’m a wannabe crunchy girl) and learning about its unique benefits. So far, Licorice Root is my fav. It’s sweet, but in a healthy way.

  • David Bowie was my first big celebrity obsession. Labyrinth pulled me in, but his music became a core part of my childhood.

  • My husband, Gabriel, and I bought land in Jane, Missouri, in 2023 with hopes of building a little homestead one day. In the meantime, we’re just enjoying life in the sweet little town of Siloam Springs, AR.

  • I love talking to people who have curly hair because I never know what I’m doing with mine. Curly girls gotta stick together.

  • I have the best Standard Poodle named Taos! Someday I plan to take him to his namesake town in New Mexico, maybe hit up a hot spring, and buy him a tiny bandana.

  • I'm a follower of Jesus, and my journey with Him deepened in 2019 after a really low season of depression. I love sharing my story and hearing how He has transformed others' hearts for the better—let's get together and share what He's done in our lives!!
